Description
Just recently I bought a massive collection of 60's and 70's LPs...some are in surprisingly immaculate condition, and some are not, but the original owner (a well-respected Australian vinyl hoarder) was a fastidious collector of the styles he loved - 60's punk/garage, British invasion well-knowns [Beatles/Hollies/Dave Clark 5/Gerry & The Pacemakers/Zombies/Troggs/etc..], 70's West Coast sounds, pop-psych and he'd obviously forraged far and wide since there's a flurry of unique South American, New Zealand,Taiwanese, South African, Japanese releases amongst them all.
Here then, is one of the LPs from his collection:

ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING?: Not the very first, but it is a very early pressing...the label copy does NOT include the song title "YOU CAN'T DO THAT" beneath "THE BITTER END"...and the "THE BITTER END" and "THE CHASE" do NOT credit the composer, Ken Thorne (these two aberrations were corrected by early 1965)...the labels are matt, not shiny...
Hand-enscribed matrix numbers are :
SIDE ONE: MAS-1-2386-F11. *
SIDE TWO: MAS-2-2386-F13 *

CONDITION:
COVER: ( VG++ )...heavy thick card gatefold cover has seam split at top of rear section on the right, and at centre on the bottom...small tear in top left corner on the back cover...inside cover is VERY near mint (beautiful!)...
RECORD: ( VG )...has scuffing and marks, mostly light - on Side Two it has some scratches over Tracks 3-6 which cause crackles and light pops - plays through without any other disturbances though (no jumps, skips or sticking)...
LABELS: (Side One: MINT / Side Two: MINT )...

PACKING:
Don’t worry - I'll pack anything you buy VERY CAREFULLY to make sure it arrives in EXACTLY the condition it left here. More specifically, in the way I'd like to receive parcels myself. VINYL: All LPs come packaged carefully in solid corrugated card packaging designed specifically for LPs, plus the LPs are housed in clear plastic sleeves. The record itself is ALWAYS removed from cover ( except for SEALED LPs) for shipping to prevent seam splitting, and placed alongside the LP cover (inside its own inner sleeve, OR in an extra sleeve to keep in secure) within the clear plastic sleeve, which is then sealed. Likewise 7" singles/EPs are packaged the same way too - well protected. POSTERS: All posters are rolled within outer protective paper that extends well beyond the actual length of the poster to avoid any crushing of the ends, and then packed in a very sturdy solid-card mailing tube - packed carefully to allow no room for any movement of the item inside.
WE MAIL OUT AT LEAST THREE TIMES A WEEK.
