Although EMI issued demonstration copies of this single, they did not carry dedicated JR (journalist review) stampers or even 1G stampers, both sides and were simply produced with their green labels from commercial pressings with random mothers and stampers. So this copy is, in effect, the earliest possible version and was pressed in advance of demo copies. It is likely that these were stock piled ready for sale on the release date - 15/03/68
Vinyl surfaces are in outstanding condition - handled with great care - just the wispiest of harmless lines
As expected audio is near perfect with undiminished sound quality - silent run ins - no pops, clicks, or crackle - plays like new
Labels are superb - minimal spindle trails, mainly close to the centre hole
Genuine original company 'Fran The Fan' sleeve is as perfect as you could expect - no splits - mint die cut centre hole, both sides - just a tiny blemish on the green panel under the R of Parlophone
