Description
The BEATLES LET IT BE UK BOX SET 2U/2U
VINYL: Good condition - number of surface marks on both sides but no deep scratches and plays well with no skips or jumps but does crackle between tracks - nothing serious – quiet tracks are OK. Labels are clean both sides – no writing and minimal spindle marks. MATRIX SIDE 1 = YEX 773 2U (2 at 9 o’clock and GP at 3 o’clock positions). SIDE 2 = YEX 774 2U, 2 at 9 o’clock and MO at 3 o’clock positions).
Vinyl is housed in correct white inner sleeve with patent number and made in GB on bottom of sleeve.
LP SLEEVE – has RED apple on rear with “An EMI recording, printed in GB by Garrod and Lofthouse etc” on the bottom. No writing on sleeve and sheen remains but the 4 corners are scuffed and rounded – so good condition.
The book is in very good condition with no loose pages and no writing on any of the pages. Front and back in very good condition spine is beautifully intact.
BOOK TRAY – is in good condition – unfortunately one of the sides is missing – so only has 3 sides but these are intact - see picture.
Inner tray that holds book and LP is in good condition – but edges are scuffed & black print has come away.
OUTER slip case – in good condition but has a number of scuffs to the edges – the top edge is worse than the others and looks like the laminate has been stuk down – see picture. In good condition and still able to hold the whole box and contents together tightly
All in all in good condition for a very fragile item.
I would recommend recorded delivery on this item for your (and mine) peace of mind.
PLEASE NOTE this is a heavy box set P&P within the UK will be more than the £4 recommended by ebay - I can poat it for £4 but this will be without any insurance - if you need insurance it will be more. I will post overseas but this will be insured postage so will be considerably more than £4 (Approx £12 to Japan). Please contact me before you bid.
