The BEATLES RARITIES (Canada release 1980) Capitol SHAL 12060

 

In the UK ‘Rarities’ was released with a completely different track listing and cover. In my opinion the non-UK ‘Rarities’ is far more interesting. It has a lovely gatefold cover with lots of great pictures including the infamous ‘Butcher Cover’ photo, never officially printed on any Beatles LP except this one.

 

VINYL: EXCELLENT Looks very clean and plays superbly.

 

COVER: EXCELLENT+ great gatefold, undamaged spine. No marks, stickers or writing. It has the BUTCHER PHOTO on the inside and excellent sleeve notes explaining the rarity value in each song.

 

INNER SLEEVE: with 32 photos of The Fab Four on stage and in the studio, this is an excellent inner sleeve to have. It’s just slightly frayed at the top.
