REVOLVER
1966 *Stereo* Pressing PCS 7009 YEX 605-1 / 606-1 2MH / 1RM
This unique cover has a professionally laminated back panel which has preserved its perfect condition from new - the laminate has been perfectly applied with 100% adhesion and is so good it is impossible to know whether it goes under the flips or butts against them - the information I have is that this is one of two covers that were owned and customized by an employee at G&L in 1966 but I have no way of proving that - the disc inside is as good as you are ever likely to find - a few very light spindle trails on both labels
Very unusual, light, mirror image of KT evident on the side 1 label - the backward K is hard to see but it is under the 'co' of conditions if you study the photo - very bold on side 2 - this has not pushed through, as they are in different positions on each side
The disc looks incredible - deep gloss surfaces with nothing more than the wispiest of handling lines and one more prominent on the last track, all are completely non-sounding - split second 'shush' sound on the run-in to track 2 but not on the track) - all tracks play mint
The Garrod and Lofthouse cover is in outstanding condition - some small perimeter stress wrinkles but lovely square corners - perfect pinched ends spine - super-smooth front and rear panels with no half moons - very light stress line through Ringos lips (not affecting the back panel)
Original EMI advertising 'patents applied for' inner sleeve is in remarkable condition - no tears just very mild creasing
Note: This is an incredible example and easily good enough for a final upgrade - I also have listed a *Please Please Me* Stereo with fully laminated cover too
