The BEATLES Revolver 1966 UK Mono with alternate version of Tomorrow Never Knows Parlophone PMC 7009
Often quoted in retrospect as the Beatles best LP this record featured an even further departure from their pop roots than the previous Rubber Soul, and featured many technical studio innivations including Automatic Double Tracking (ADT) While the rcord was highly anticipated in the UK, where Parlophone had cleverly distributed some of the songs to radio stations in pre-release, the US was more concerned with Lennons famous remark that theBeatles had become more popular than Jesus. This pressing contained an alternate mix of "Tomorrow Never Knows"
