If you are in a hurry, here is a quick summary: Vinyl & labels are in fantastic condition - Overall, the complete package is excellent!
If you have more time, a detailed description follows, where you'll find my honest appraisal of every item but please bear in mind that vinyl records were bought to be played, not put away in a cupboard. I offer original Beatles U.K. pressings, now between fifty and sixty years old, in excellent, collectible condition but they have been played and therefore, will never be mint. Please click on my score right now and read the feedback comments:
THE DISC
Side One: XEX 637-1 Stamper: 3-GDT Side Two: XEX 638-1 Stamper: 2-TO
AUDIO - EX+
Tempted to grade this as Near Mint. Audio is crystal clear! Expect a tiny bit of background sound between tracks which is bound to occur on a piece of vinyl now over 50 years old. Being a true first pressing, this disc carries the unique few seconds of 'gobbledygook' in the run-out at the end of side 2 (if your playing arm will allow you to hear it before it lifts).
VISUALLY - EX+ A stunning example, especially for a mono copy. On side one, I cannot see any obvious needle lines that jump out at you, even in reflected daylight. There are the unavoidable wispy handling lines, present on all played vinyl discs but viewed normally the surface looks near pristine. Side two is almost as good, apart from just a few very light surface lines that are completely harmless and would have most likely been caused by the disc being put down on an imperfect surface rather than immediately returned to the protective inner bag. Both labels are in perfect, as new, condition with a moderate number of spindle trails all confined to the centre circle area close to the hole. This suggests careful alignment and handling of the disc.
Unless you can find an un-played copy, this disc could easily be considered as a final upgrade!

THE COVER - EX-
In very good condition for an original 'Pepper' cover. A solid example which shows just a few wrinkles on the front but no pressure lines. The back is in similar condition, with a few noticeable pressure lines, most likely caused by placement on an imperfect surface. The inside of the gatefold is in perfect condition and the spine is undamaged and retains all its lettering.

THE INNER SLEEVE - EX+
Correct 'Fool' inner. Age toned and a little creased but just about as good as it gets.
The cut-out cardboard sheet is unused. ======================================================================
The photos are of the actual item. I always use professional, anti-static, cleaning fluid and listen to the whole disc. Professional mailers are always used.
I will be listing more Beatles records, so please have a look
