Description
The BEATLES yesterday and today butcher cover STEREO In FULL SHRINK!!!.
I am going to do my best to be as specific as possible with this listing, due to the quality and nature of this near perfect record!!!!
Here we have a 1966 STEREO 2nd state copy of The Beatles yesterday and today!!
Yes this is the highly sought after butcher cover, and Yes it is still in the full shrink wrap!!!
The shrink is near perfect except about a 2 inch opening on the bottom seam side of the plastic (see picture #7)
First I want to direct you to picture #3 on this post. With most copies of this album you can see the slight V on the cover underneath the Lp's title. This is actually Ringo's turtle neck on the butcher cover underneath.
If you look at the picture in this post (#3), you can actually see his face and his body as well. That's how clean this cover is!!!
Also you will see (in the picture# 5) on John's knee is an original breathe hole!!!!
Now to the cover condition!!!
The front cover is near flawless, the only issues I see looks to be very very slight discoloration on the edge of the opening (see picture #8).
Also pictured is the RIAA # 5 ( see picture #6)
Also on the bottom seem at the opening, there is a little bit of fraying see (picture #9).
It looks to possibly be shelf wear from taking it on and off the shelf.
That being said there are no full splits on this beautiful LP.
I do want to point out (see picture #11) , on the spine where the albums name is located there is a couple inches of separation, but it is very solid and doesn't seem to be escalating.
I'm not sure what exactly caused it this but this seem to be the only issue that I would consider to be a major flaw on this near perfect record cover.
Also there is a small crease on the bottom corner of the spine, in person it is hardly visible.See picture #12)
The LP is a solid VG to VG+, there are a couple little random surface marks but nothing that in anyway effects the playing.
I have listened to the whole LP on my player and it sounds great to me!! The previous owner of this record took very very good care of this record, you can tell it was loved .
I do have to say that I have sold quite a few high dollar copies of this LP, but this one is by far the cleanest!!!
As usual as well I am open to offers.. but this is a gem that I will really have the right offer to let out of my possession.
Also as usual if you have any questions feel free to ask, I will do my very best to answer and accommodate!!!
Than you for looking!!
