Description

   For sale is The Band (In Concert) Rock Of Ages, released by  Capitol Records in 1972. This is a deluxe double album in a gate-fold presentation. In the dead wax between the last track and the label are etched "RL" and stamped "Sterling". This signifies that it was mastered by the genius engineer Robert Ludwig at Sterling Sounds, NYC.  The sound quality goes up two or three notches because of these preparations to detail. I bought this, played it and immediately put it away in a new inner sleeves.  I always put all my records directly into a protective inner sleeve(s), thus preserving the integrity of the insert(s) and the original inner sleeve(s). The vinyl is Near Mint. The cover is Near Mint with some minor shelf wear. The spine is Near Mint.  It's been played only on Audiophile equipment and still has a lot of life yet. This is one of the best copies of this album that I've ever heard, and you would be hard pressed to find one in this condition and with its sound quality. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. I have more albums listed in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're all Near Mint. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
