Here is the historic double live album recorded by The Band on New Year’s Eve of 1971, in New York City. What made this album distinctive for the group was the backing support provided by some of the greatest New York City jazz musicians of the day. The horns were arranged by the legendary Allen Toussaint. The jazz effect definitely worked on these recordings.
