The Band Self Titled Lp 1st Press Bob Ludwig RL Vinyl Press in original Textured Gatefold sleeve
From my collection - I use a Thorens and dual turntables with Ortofon OM30 stylus with the correct tracking
The vinyl plays through with surface noise that tends to get drowned out by the music but can be heard at times. Nothing that kills my listening experience. These RL cuts have a big bottom end!
Visually under bright lights side 1 has multiple hairlines and scuffs but none can be felt. There are initials on side 1’s label.
Side 2 is visually cleaner with just a small section with hairlines that can’t be felt. Visually it’s a G+ overall but plays VG- on side 1 and VG+ on side 2.
It’s a double RL press so it naturally sounds dynamic.
The textured gatefold sleeve is VG (see pictures).
Its a very good player of an original press. These are getting hard to find
