Stunning, beautifully preserved copy of The Band's legendary 1972 live double masterpiece, Rock of Ages. This original US first pressing is completely untouched, un-played, and has been safely stored inside its original factory shrink wrap for over 50 years!
Features the highly sought-after, original vintage factory hype sticker attached to the front shrink wrap detailing the full live tracklist. This release features the legendary audio mastering work of Robert Ludwig (RL) in the runouts. Recorded live at the Academy of Music in New York with a brilliant horn arrangement by Allen Toussaint. Features spectacular live performances of "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down," "Up on Cripple Creek," "The Weight," and "Chest Fever."
Features the iconic original matte tri-fold cover with gold foil text. Flat faces and vivid colors. Has a standard vintage factory remainder cut-out hole in the corner.
