Description
Great condition copy of The Beach Boys’ 1969 album “20/20”. A rather democratic Beach Boys album, with many songs by members of the band other than Brian, plus some outtakes from the Friends and SMiLE sessions. This is a more uncommon pressing on Capitol’s Starline label. The album had notoriously low pressing numbers as album sales were The Beach Boys’ lowest to date.
Disc: VG+, only the most minor of hairlines, a bit of dust that someone else would be able to clean better than I can. Looks lustrous and beautiful under a light.
Outer sleeve: VG, almost VG+. A bit of edge wear, corner bumps, remnants of a name tag on the front. No seam splits. This has a unique gatefold design that Capitol used for a few releases, where the opening to insert the record is on the inside of the gatefold, thus preventing the record from falling out while the gatefold is closed. Interesting design and I’ve always wondered why they abandoned it.
No original inner sleeve included. You’re not missing much.. the original sleeve is blank paper anyway
