Description
For many years I did promotion for music labels, large and small, and have accumulated product not only from labels I represented but labels I competed with as well. Understand this was not a collection as such; it was the residue of what I did for a living. These discs were not stored in air tight lockers of kept in a temperature controlled clean room, they were in boxes in my office and although they may have never been removed from the dust jacket please expect dust and even some light scratching. From 1972 we have for a no reserve auction what appears to be a lightly played, rare, white labeled promotional copy of the Warner Brothers Records “two-for” release featuring The Beach Boys “Pet Sounds” and Carl Wilson’s “So Tough” catalogue # 2083. Vinyl discs have a nice gloss surface, perfect “Not For sale” white labels of promotion and retains their original Warner inner paper sleeves. Gate fold jacket has survived in very nice condition with strong corners and no cut through but has slight ring wear and factory front sticker. Also included are a one sheet and a twelve page booklet titled “The Beach boys A Short Story” (a great reference of Beach boy history: a nice example of the signatures, a picture of the sixth Beach Boy, Glen Campbell in official Beach Boy garb).
