Here is a superb collection of 11 MFSL audiophile CD's comprised of 10 albums from The Beatles.
I saw these albums at a Beatle's Convention in Los Angeles in 2004 and just had to have them. They are the best sounding Beatle's CD albums I have ever heard. This includes the newly remastered catalogs (mono and stereo versions included) These albums are the stereo master versions, not the mono versions. The sound of these albums will blow you away. The attention to detail in the quality of the outer sleeves is stunning. The cover art for each CD is the same MFLS art from the matching MFSL LP. Even the center emblem found on the MFSL vinyl LP is the same as the disc art on these CD's. Same material, ink, everything.
These recordings are the MFSL Original Master Analog Recordings. My receipt says "The Beatles - Complete Original Master Analog Recordings From Mobile Fidelity Studio Labs, Operations & Productions Team".
I was advised that these were internal promo pressings for employees at Mobile Fidelity Studio Labs. Each album contains the cover-art and shows the detail of the MFSL LP album(s).
These are the albums from the original master recordings. All albums are in the same condition as they were when I purchased them, new condition. The 'Revolver" outer sleeve contains a slight crease that goes across the front of the album cover. It is hard to see in the pictures but wanted to inform the winning bidder, nonetheless. This is my spare set of these albums. They have never been played. I paid $475 for them originally. I listen to my CD's more than any other versions that I own. I own 2 full collections of the Beatles MFSL LP's, plus a few extra MFSL LP's from the band (see other listing for HELP! on MFSL), and the sound quality of these albums are on par or even better than the MFSL LP counterparts in some cases. They really are a collectors' dream.
An excellent addition to anyone's Beatles collection and wonderful sonic collection of the arguably the best albums and band ever to produce music. I hope these find a new home where they will again be cherished, cared for and hopefully played. I am raising some extra cash for some medical bills that the insurance did not cover for.
