The Beatles – 1962-1966 Double LP (Red Album)
Press from circa 1975.
Catalogue Code: PCSP 717. (PCSP 7171 / PCSP 7172)
Matrix Numbers: Side A - YEX 905-3. Side B - YEX 906-4
Side C – YEX 907-3. Side D – YEX 908-3.
Side A: Mother code 3 and Stamper code GOA (153).
Side B: Mother code 4 and Stamper GOO (155).
Side C: Mother code 1 and Stamper MOM (454).
Side D: Mother code 4 and Stamper GHP (176).
Vinyl condition: EX+. Both LPs have some very light surface scratches but these are only visible under very bright light. Plays absolutely perfectly.
The original Garrod and Lofthouse die-cut Inner sleeves with printed lyrics are in excellent condition. These inner sleeves have round cut corners characteristic of the 1975 press. The sleeve for the first LP has a small split in the bottom where the LP has worn through the paper, approximately one inch long. No labels, Cello tape or writing.
Sleeve: EX+ Housed within original laminated “Garrod and Lofthouse” gatefold sleeve. The sleeve is in excellent condition, absolutely beautiful. Gatefold and laminate are perfect. No tears, creases or splits. No labels, Cello tape or writing. Spine is in perfect condition. Very small amount of wear to each of the corners but this is minimal. An excellent example of this great compilation album.

DUE TO PROLONGED PLAYING THE VINYL’S SOUND QUALITY HAS NOTICEABLY DETERIORATED. THERE COULD ALSO BE DISTORTION AND MILD SCRATCHES. THE SLEEVE COULD SUFFER FROM DISCOLOURATION, FOLDS, SPLIT SPINES AND SCUFFS.
