All four sides remain very clean with only light surface scuffs.
Both records retain a beautiful and vivid red color.
I listened to all tracks from beginning to end.
Playback is excellent overall.
Only one small pop was heard during “All My Loving” on Side 1.
Apart from this, playback was very clean and enjoyable throughout.
■ Sleeve Condition: EX
The gatefold sleeve shows some age-related and handling wear.
However, it remains solid overall, and the inside of the gatefold is also very clean.
The artwork and overall presentation remain attractive.

■ About This Release
“1962-1966,” commonly known as the Red Album, was originally released in 1973 as an official collection covering the Beatles’ early years.
The famous cover photograph was taken at EMI’s headquarters. Years later, the Beatles returned to the same location and recreated the pose for the photograph associated with “1967-1970,” creating a fascinating visual before-and-after of the band.
This Japanese edition was released as a special 20th Anniversary red vinyl issue, making the actual red-colored records especially fitting for the legendary “Red Album.”
