Description
For auction is a 1965 Beatles - The Beatles 3rd Christmas Record - Fan Club Flexi Disc with the original picture sleeve but no newsletter. Produced on Lyntone Records - LYN 948. Also included is Disc Music & Echo 2 sided flexi-disc (LYN 996). This disc is introduced by Radio Caroline Deejay Tom Lodge & has loads od acts including The Beatles with Tom Lodge, Dusty Springfield with Spencer Davis, Walker Brothers, Gary & John with Pete Townshend & Penny Valentine, Sandie Shaw with Adam Faith, Cilla and The Bachelors, Cliff Richard with Hank Marvin & Bruce Welch, Judith Durham with Penny Valentine and Cathy McGowan with the Hollies.
The sleeve shows just a little age discoloration, that's all, no splits and minor creasing.
The record does have a small ding on (see photo 6) it but otherwise looks very good. These flexi discs are very delicate things and to be in as good a condition as it is after 52 years is remarkable.The label is very clean. A lovely thing. Thanks for looking
