Description
I am selling many BEATLES LPs (duplicates) from my collection. So, please check my other auctions.
IN THIS AUCTION:
· “BEATLES ‘65” by the Beatles
· This LP Capitol Records T 2228.
· This LP was issued December 15, 1964.
· This LP is the FIRST and ONLY MONO PRESSING.
· The COVER is a Capitol-marked cover and the cover cardboard construction with front cover slick overlapping the rear slick is the correct cover to go with this 1964 pressing. There is NO NUMBER printed on the rear cover.
· I once read that due to the high demand of production of Beatles’ records, Capitol Records contracted with other companies to press a certain number of copies of certain LP titles. The VINYL in this auction was pressed at DECCA RECORDS based on the outer ridge on the label that circles the LP title and song titles. Capitol-pressed vinyl has the ridge much closer to the spindle hole.
· The COVER is graded NEAR MINT MINUS CONDITION. It is nice and clean and has just a couple of TINY corner pushes (check images).
· The VINYL is NEAR MINT MINUS with a few light surface scuffs.
· This LP comes with its ORIGINAL CAPITOL INNER SLEEVE.
· A REALLY NICE ORIGINAL 1964 MONO COPY of this BEATLES LP to add to your vinyl collection!
