The Beatles A Collection Of Beatles Oldies LP UK Mono 1st Press [Ex/Vg+]

	£		45
	$		60

Description

An original Mono 1st Press of Oldies on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 1G/1G. Please note label design is totally consistent with 1st press - all the publishing dates are positioned on the left-side. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original mono Garrod & Lofthouse cover.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of very light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is both minor and infrequent. All we could detect was a touch of lightest static in a couple of spots e.g. a touch in Michelle...but nothing invasive or persistent. And one click in 'Eleanor Rigby'. A very nice all round player with little to find fault with.   Cover (Vg+) Nice shiny front with a few stress creases over on the spine edge. The rear seems to have avoided the worst of the ageing process - but there is light ageing in places. Edge wear is light and the spine seems mostly intact with text still legible. Overall the cover retains perfect rigidity.
