Description
THE BEATLES - A VERY SPECIAL INVITATION
MEGA RARE WORLD RECORD 'BEATLES COLLECTION' PROMO PACK
FULLY COMPLETE WITH ORIGINAL ENVELOPE
VINYL IS UNPLAYED
INCREDIBLE CONDITION!!!
This pack was issued to customers of World records, and was the first opportunity the General Public had to Obtain the Beatles Singles Collection Box Set. The Pack was delivered in the mail in an Envelope marked The Beatles, A Very Special Invitiation. The window allowed for the select World Record Club customers to be identified. Inside the envelope there were four items. 1. The reservation Certificate. each one was individually numbered and this one is a very low number No 277. the Certificate had the return address on the back and it was this card that the buyer needed to retirn in order to claim the singles set. Therefore this is easily the rarest item in the pack as clearly this partticular customer chose not to buy the product. Those that did would have sent the card back and would not have seen it again. This makes this particular set Very unique. 2. A four page letter from Paul Richard of World record in which details every record in the collection and makes mention of the fact that this is the first time this collection has been offered. It also gives payment details. The set would have cost £17.95 to buy outright or £18.90 over 3 months 3A trifold leaftlet detailing the whole collection in order, including a picture of the Beatles and a description of how the box would look, plus a picture of the box. 4. Finally the flexi single itself which has snippets from the tracks and is in unplayed condition. Like all flexidiscs it is imperfect and there are tics and clicks and vinyl noise, but I have recored the entire disc for you to listen to
