Item Description/Condition:
Another beautiful example of The Beatles UK Apple Vinyl LP, 'Abbey Road', first released by EMI/Apple on 26th September 1969. This Issue with the first YEX 749 -2 & YEX 750 -1 matrices, is dated from November/December 1969 and has the lighter Green Apple Label on side one, additionally the title for the song Her Majesty is printed on the side 2 record label.
On the Custom Apple Record labels, with 'Apple Records' label rim , 'Mfd in UK' label text and **WITH** ‘Her Majesty’ correctly credited to the side 2 record label. Housed in it’s original Issue, Garrod & Lofthouse fully laminated glossy sleeve.
Both sides of the Record Labels are in as new Mint condition, the record labels are as new, with no signs of play to side 1, and only one sign of play to side 2.
Side 1 Matrix YEX 749-2 and Side 2 YEX 750-1.
Side 1 stampers: 12 PML and Side 2: 5 PPL.
Both sides of the vinyl Disc are in are also in Mint condition, bright glossy unmarked Vinyl surfaces.
Audio Quality:
The LP plays through with a perfect sound quality through all the tracks, with the exception of a click on Octopus’s Garden, there does not appear to be any marks that causes the click, so it could be a flaw in the vinyl.
The Vinyl Disc comes in an original White Made in Great Britain printed Apple inner bag which is in Excellent Plus condition, with only mild age toning and creasing, NO seam splits.
The LP is housed in its original, fully laminated, Garrod & Lofthouse Picture sleeve featuring the correct aligned Apple logo to the reverse of the sleeve.
The Glossy Fully Laminated Apple Records, Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is in superb undamaged Mint Minus condition. This sleeve is beautiful from corner to corner, no seam splits or corner damage, all that is visible is a laminate bubble at the bottom front left corner, the laminate is not broken, and the very mildest of LP storage, the lamination on the front reverse are glossy, the colours have remained rich and vivid.
A stunning condition example of this rare later 1969 Apple album, complete with it’s original fully laminated sleeve.
