An original 1st press of AR on the UK Apple label.... Matrix 2/1 - very 1st cut. Please note that you can REALLY only claim 1st pressing if the labels DO NOT mention 'Her Majesty'. And this copy definitely DOES NOT mention "Her Majesty". It's pressed on lovely thick 60's vinyl and let me assure you that there's no better way to take in AR than on a 1st press.. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original G&L ultra-thin spine. Also included is a REPLICA black inner sleeve too. 
Vinyl (Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there a few light marks per side, and a couple of super-light trails - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a level of playback varying between NEAREXCELLENT & EXCELLENT with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. AR has lots of delicate intricate moments - side 2 is chock full of low-key classics. This a relatively clean and impressive player. I did detect a few crackles in a couple of tracks per side but mostly pretty minor and infrequent in nature. It plays really clean for the most part - and just a shade below that in a couple of tracks per side [usually in the quietest moments]. The only deviation is in the outro to side 1. I'm detecting a bit or crackle and occasional brief distortion toward the end of the outro. Overall, an impressive and enjoyable rendition which is precisely what these 1st pressings are renowned for.
Cover (Ex-) In lovely condition and has clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely shiny and flat front and rear. I can only make out two slight creases on the front, and two creases on the rear toward the bottom corners. Edge wear is quite minor with just one slight patch in the middle of the spine [no wear through though]. All text on the spine fully legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner [replica] (Vg+) A 1c.m. side split. That's all.
