Description
This is a lovely 3rd UK press (1970) copy of ‘Abbey Road’; from the private collection of an ex-Island Records executive - see the label/sleeve specifics below:
The green label has a large ‘?1969’ as opposed to the regular smaller one, the 33 1/3 is centred; and the “Her Majesty” credit is present after ‘The End’ on side 2.
The sleeve is fully laminated, with the drain showing and a fully aligned rear-apple.
749-2/750-1 matrices, GOP 6/ PHO 2 Mother/Stampers.
Upper-right corner rub, lower edge creasing and a few minor rear dirt spots on what is otherwise an EX sleeve, the inner has a top tear and the disc has very minor hairlines where applicable but nothing feelable with a finger.
The flipbacks have unstuck but I don’t degrade due to this (the glue was never intended to sustain this far).
