The Beatles  "Abbey Road"

This is a Taiwan Import on Liming LM-2315.   The album is originally from 1969.   It is pressed on black vinyl and it's in stereo.    The front cover says 'Deluxecho Stereo'.   The labels are apply wrong.   The side with the 'Side 1' label plays the music from side 2.     And the side with the 'side 2' label plays the music from side 1.

The back cover has the lyrics printed, but the translations are CRAZY.      There are so many mistakes that it's hard to read.     Here are some examples : on 'Come Together' :  "You come on that top he comes could be love sorry, he got to to a bow he want early roll get hair down his knee, got to be a Yo-Go he just to lay please".   on 'Maxwell's Silver Hammer' : "Thomas quaggical tell about quaaggical sigh sing on, make my it's all lonely with they attention aoh..aoh, aoh, aoh..Maxwell madison measwring madison no salon no".    And on 'Mean Mr Mustard" : 'Mean Mr Mustard seen the sape know that save cost, She say Ho Ho Lu Lu say they not pirate to call, kick temper know all to know".        There are more mistakes than correct translations !!!!

The songs are : Come Together, Something, Maxwell's Silver Hammer, Oh Darling, Octopus's Garden, I Want You, Here Comes The Sun, Because, You Never Give Me Your Money, Sun King, Mean Mr Mustard, She Came In Through The Bathroom Window, Golden Slumbers, Carry That Weight, The End, and Her Majesty.

What are Taiwan Imports and why should you buy one??    Taiwan imports are copies of US albums that were pressed without obeying copyright laws.     They were pressed by small companies in Taiwan ( or Formosa ), in extremely limited numbers ( between 100 and 500 ).    It was illegal to export them out of the country, so the only way they got out was from US servicemen who bought them there and then brought them back when they returned from overseas duty.    Then they had to be sold to a used record store and then resold to a collector.     There are many cover and label variations to watch for.    Sometimes they are pressed on colored vinyl.     Most of the time the front covers are poor quality copies.     Many back covers are different or will have the lyrics printed, some with errors and typos.     Sometimes there are album slicks from other albums inside the covers.     The US record company logo is gone and a Chinese record company and record number are in it's place.   All of their labels are unique with lots of Chinese character writing.    The covers are made of paper which is sealed in very thin plastic, inside and outside.    They are pressed on poor quality vinyl which plays with some static.    They never note the country name on the cover or on the labels.

Overall Condition : Cover : VG+ /  Record : VG+

The cover is VG+.    There is no writing.    There is a 2 inch seam split on center right.     There is no ring wear on the plastic cover and a few stretch marks in the plastic.      The bottom corners have minor bends.     The vinyl looks near mint and it plays VG+, with light background static between the songs.    The labels are clean with some spindle marks.    

I will package this record between two pieces of 1/2 inch thick cardboard.   It's so thick that you will save it and use it again.    It will weigh 17 ounces ( 1 pound, 1 ounce ) when ready to ship.   You can figure out your own shipping costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    It will be sent by First Class Mail International to overseas buyers.   ( Buyers from Italy will assume all risks for shipping to their country )     I will send it as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM).    I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.    This record is from a no smoking and no pets home.
