Description
The Beatles - Abbey Road (UK Vinyl LP - Early Pressing)
Early U.K. pressing. This version is the "first label, revised cover" version:
Dark green labels with a whole apple on the A-side label and a half, sliced-open apple on B-side. The labels have the "(An E.M.I. Recording)" text on two lines and small "33 1/3" text moved to the left side. Publishing year printed with a small ? symbol. The B-side label does not have "Her Majesty" credits.Comes in a full laminated cover without flaps on the back side. The front cover has the drain showing, the rear cover has the Apple logo aligned with the text, and 'Her Majesty' is not listed.
The Vinyl is in Very Good condition. Glossy vinyl with great audio. There are some light surface marks and the occasional light scratch and there are some light crackles during playback, mostly during the quieter passages of music. There is a feelable scratch on Side 2 track 1 which only produces a few clicks when played through.
The laminated sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. Clean top and bottom edges and glossy laminate. There is a scuff on the centre of the spine but this does not obscure the spine text.
Both labels are clean and unmarked.
Released in 1969 by Apple Records Cat: PCS 7088 Matrix numbers: YEX 749-2/YEX 750-1.

ALL THE ALBUMS I SELL ARE VERY SECURELY PACKAGED WITH AT LEAST TWO STIFFENERS AND NEW PLASTIC SLEEVES. I ALWAYS PLACE THE RECORD OUTSIDE THE OUTER SLEEVE TO ENSURE THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO THE SLEEVE IN TRANSIT. I ONLY USE THE HIGHEST GRADE PACKAGING TO ENSURE THE RECORDS ARRIVE IN THE CONDITION I STATE IN MY LISTINGS.
Grading
I grade all my records using the Record Collector's Grading System which is as follows:
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent - The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits discoloration etc.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/ or defaced.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
