Hi, my name is Tommy and I’ve been collecting records for many, many years now. I’ve taken the hard decision to sell off some of my collection due to it being too large and taking up too much room. So please look at my other listings, regrettable they’ve got to go. All my records are stored in protective plastic sleeves, standing upright with no pressure on them. Will be listing many more over the next few months..:(
Listed here is a RARE album by The Beatles titled Abby Road. This is a UK 1st Original Pressing on Apple PCS 7088. This Stereo copy is pressed on the very collectable Dark Green Apple label. What makes this album RARER than most is that there is NO “Her Majesty” credit on label. Sleeve is printed by Garrod & Lofthouse, also has the early matrix numbers.
Matrix numbers: YEX 749-2 / YEX 750-1
RECORD - Both sides of the record are in VG+ condition. There is a small amount of minor/light background noise/static, which is most noticeable on the run-in’s and between the tracks. NO skips, NO Jumps, NO sticking. Few light pops, couple of hairline scratches, that don’t affect the play, apart from one tiny one that causes 4 very light clicks on first side.
SLEEVE - The Laminated sleeve is in Near Mint condition. NO spine wear, NO edge wear, NO rips, NO Tears, NO Writing, NO Splits. Tiny amount of creasing, NO Ring wear, NO pen names or Marks. Still has lovely shine to it (see photo)
Inner is in VG condition. Label’s in EX condition. Small amount of spindle marks.
(note: never grade Mint as I believe once it’s been played, even just once it’s no longer Mint)
