Description
This is a 1995 Special Limited Edition Box Set of The Beatles Anthology from Great Britain. It comes with a Certificate of Limited Edition of only 5000 Worldwide. This is a low numbered set, with "Number 705" engraved on a metal gold-colored plate on the front of the box. The custom box is dark green in color and is made to hold all three Anthology vinyl albums. 'The Beatles Anthology' is printed in gold and red letters on the front of the box. The albums, Vols 1-3, have never been opened and are still factory sealed. Vol 1 is the rare U.S. issue which was pressed in the UK, but distributed in the U.S. by Capitol records. The only difference between this and the UK distribution is that Capitol shrink-wrapped the album, and the UK did not. The U.S. issue of Vol 1 was extremely limited and is now a highly sought collectible. The box also includes a T-shirt, black in color, 100% cotton, size XL with 'The Beatles Anthology' embroidered on the left chest in gold colored letters. There is a neat custom Beatles paperweight which measures about four inches in diameter and an inch thick, with red felt on the bottom. There are also four picture drawings, one each of John, Paul, George, & Ringo. The overall set shows practically no wear and is in "Like New" condition.
