Description

Beatles White Album Wall Plaque. Brass plates on wood. Top plate "NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF RECORD MERCHANDISERS" Middle plate "NARM" Bottom plate "BEST SELLING ALBUM 1968. THE BEATLES. BEATLES. APPLES RECORDS.   It's not mint but a great item for any collector. The bottom plate does have some dents, the top plate has blemishes top l/h side. The screw heads are slightly corroded. The wooden plaque top right corner is chipped on the back and the panels have a slight gap where it's swollen from being in a garage. These may shrink when hung indoors. I have pointed out the bad points when looked at closely, I have probably been over critical! When hung on a wall most are hard to see.
Below is a response I had via email from NARM:   This probably is a genuine NARM award which we did give out in the 60's to recognize best selling albums, since NARM is a trade association that primarily represents record retailers, wholesalers and distributors.  At that time, the awards were presented to representatives from the record label (Apple Records).
