Description
The Beatles BC13 Blue Box Collection UK Edition LP 1980s NM Vinyls!
As mentioned above,
Wow, another unbelievable find! Another “Blue Box” set of mostly unplayed vinyls..This is the 18th (yes, 18th) of these purchased recently from the original owner where most of the sides look unplayed or at least lightly played....a couple have just some light “squiggles” just on one side around the spindle hole, the other side nothing. This has been kept in a smoke-free environment all these years just for your listening pleasure! The covers look just as clean, with just a crease here and there from light handling..The outer blue box has served its purpose, protecting these well, with the usual bumps and nicks..the flimsy “hinge” on the front side was in danger of coming loose so I’ve used some flexible cement to keep it held together and functioning properly.. As noted above, like my previous auctions, the vinyls in this special set look unplayed, or lightly played at the least..The covers look NM, with just the tiniest signs here and there from long-term storage in the main blue box. This is a complete set of all 13 titles, with everything that came with these originally in the mid 80’s including the Sgt Peppers cutout insert, etc., .... Most all of the runouts have “H.T.M” etched, pressed by “Harry T. Moss”, regarded as the best examples available at the time..(and probably still)… this set includes all the inner sleeves, most marked late ‘83 to early ‘85, all four photos and the “unfurled” poster from the White Album. The outer “Blue Box” is in decent shape, considering age, has some dings here & there but has done its job safely caring for these LPs over the years..The flimsy hinge needed some attention, so I’ve used some flexible clear cement to hold it together and functioning. The box still has the nice bright blue covering and gold lettering is sharp....I can send more pics as requested for any and all examples..Thanks for looking!..
