The Beatles VI **EXPORT PRESSING** MASSIVELY RARE AND HIGHLY COLLECTABLE UK EXPORT ISSUE!!!
Hello and welcome to this auction! I am primarily a collector of records- specialising in 1960/ 70s pop, psyche and rock, however I do occasionally like to sell some of my extremely rare items from my collection, these are usually only sold if I have acquired an upgrade on this particular copy. As a collector I believe in the strictest POSSIBLE grading for any records, there is nothing more disappointing than an over graded record. I have been collecting for around ten years so I do have a good experience of how to grade accurately using the standard RC grading system. Usually I will not sell records below a grading of ‘Good’ unless it is of value in terms of its rarity. I realise as a newcomer to ebay there may be concerns of my grading and reputation however I endeavour to pack and post my records as soon as payment has been confirmed so bid with confidence. This particular auction I will be offering a very rare first pressing Export copy of Beatles VI from 1966 on its original black and yellow Parlophone label, this is perhaps one of the most collectable Beatles LPs, this copy- made in the UK for export to other countries is extremely scarce in every sense, featuring two 1/R stampers on both sides of the dead wax showing that it is an extremely early pressing of this massively rare LP. Also showing in the dead wax (apart from the standard matrix numbers of YEEX 112 – A15 and YEEX 113 – A15) is a crossed out and corrected matrix number of STE 2451. Label two bears a KT tax code. As for the condition of the record both sides do bear some scuff lines and light surface markings/scratches- NONE of which can be felt with the tip of a finger. A PROPER grading of GOOD to the visual condition to the surface of the record would apply, however the audio is certainly much better than the visual playing with no distortion, just touches of background and static in places - a grading of Very Good would apply!! As for the sleeve some light- moderate age wear is evident, however there is nothing overly wrong with this example and structurally is in place. Perhaps a grading of VERY GOOD would apply to this one!
