This album is the famous "Christmas Album" created for U.K. and U.S. Official Fan Club members only. Also known as "From Then to You" in the UK, this album is a 1970 compilation album of the Christmas records issued via the Beatles Fan Club. Made available solely to members of their official fan clubs in the UK and US. (SBC 100)
Each year from 1963 to 1969, The Beatles had recorded a short Christmas message for their fans, comprised of carols, skits, jokes, and thanks for the loyal "Beatle People." Each recording was pressed onto a 7 inch flexi disc and mailed free to British members of the Fan Club. In 1970, in the wake of the band's break up, Apple released the compilation of all 7. Despite the album's popularity with fans (through bootleggers), it has not been officially released since. This album was most likely sent to U.S. Fan Club members in the Spring of 1971, after the band's break-up.
The vinyl is in NM condition as it appears as though it has never been played. "Bell sound" is stamped in the trail off area. The white paper sleeve is without tears, folds, or markings. The cover is in superb condition with only moderate shelf wear to the corners and edges. Mild circular wear to the bottom of the front cover (see photo).
This album is one of the hard to find additions to any album collector. It was meticulously cared for and appreciated by it's owner.
