PARLOGRAM AUCTIONS presents...
THE BEATLES COLLECTION - GERMAN DMM EDITION
This was the final edition of this legendary box set and was issued in Germany in 1987.
It contains 14 x DMM (Direct Metal Mastering) pressed albums comprising ALL albums in the Beatles UK album catalogue plus the bonus 'Rarities' LP.
We have also added the DMM pressing of the 'Past Masters' 2 LP set which was not originally included in the set at the time.
All albums are were mastered from the same digital source as the first edition CDs, except for 'Beatles For Sale' which is in STEREO.
Unlike all other pressings, the pressing of 'Rarities' in this set contains the TRUE stereo version of 'Rain'.
All discs are housed within their original poly-lined inner-sleeves.

CONDITION
Discs: EXCELLENT to MINT/UNPLAYED
All records are in great shape and sound amazing! We have played them ALL and found NO significant or major audible issues.
Visually, 'Please, Please Me', 'With the Beatles', 'Help!', 'Revolver', 'Sgt. Pepper', 'Abbey Road' have all been played and bear some light surface marks, whilst the others albums are MINT and appear UNPLAYED. 'Rarities' is slightly dished and has 2 labels pressed on side 2 (see listing image), but plays without fault.
Covers: EXCELLENT+/MINT -
All are clean & glossy with the only issues being small upper seam stresses to a few. The only exception is the cover to 'Past Masters' which has moderate wear and is in VERY GOOD condition, although the discs inside are immaculate.
Box: EXCELLENT
Clean & strong with a touch of storagewear outside. There is some wear & a tear to the hinge of the inner flap, but no other significant issues.
This set is a must for all audiophile collectors and is a rare opportunity to acquire a full set of those legendary DMM pressings in one go.
