Description
This is the original first Mono pressing of the album "With The Beatles" by The Beatles on the Parlophone label catalogue number PMC 1206. These early Parlophone copies are hard to come by in decent condition and this copy would be hard to beat. Matrix numbers are: Side 1, XEX-447-7N, Side 2, XEX 448-7N Stampers: Side 1, 9 O clock CC, 3 O clock GA 1.1, Side 2, 9 O clock 3, 3 O clock GCP
The labels have "The Parlophone Company" rim and no "Sold in UK". Side 2 credit for Money is Dominion Belinda.
The vinyl retains a beautiful shine on both sides and neither side displays any scratches, scuffs or any other surface marks. The vinyl surfaces gleam, almost as good as new. The labrls remain factory bright and have no spindle marks whatsoever, AS GOOD AS NEW.
The record is housed in an original Emitex inner that has no splits or other damage. The sleeve remains white and clean. The outer Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is in great shape with no creasing to the front (as good as new). The rear of the sleeve remains beautifully white and clean. Rear depicts "You Really Got A Hold On Me". The sleeve has nice sharp corners. All in all this is a beautiful copy and only a freshly purchased one could beat it but not by much.
This copy is accompanied by two early Beatles photo's the larger by Valex and the smaller by Brel. A nice compliment to the item
An outstanding example of a very collectable piece
