Description
Released a few weeks before Christmas in 1964, 'For Sale' was well received at the time and had a fair number of covers on it due to the fact that the group's busy schedule delayed the completion of original songs. No matter, there are some very strong moments on it (No Reply, I'm a Loser, 'I'll Follow The Sun' among others) and the production is superb.
Condition of Lp Jacket: Excellent....tough to find in this condition due to the design of the gatefold sleeve. Nice clean, shiny lamination....some minor creases and corner wear. A very solid example of this classic jacket.
Condition of Record: VG+(+) ....this Mono pressing plays beautifully, with only a few moments of light surface noise. Hairlines are visible but virtually none have any bearing on playback. A very nice copy to have in a collection. The weight of the vinyl exceeds 150g and the original lined inner-sleeve is in very good condition as well.
