Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the vinyl I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
The Beatles and Frank Ifield-"Jolly What!" LP, Vee Jay VJLP 1085, released in 1964. Mono pressing. This was another attempt by Vee Jay to cash in on the several Beatles songs they still had the rights to at the time. Ironically, their Vee Jay LP's are in most cases more valuable than their Capitol LP's. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in VG (side two) to VG+ (side one) condition. cover is in VG condition; front is fine but the back has considerable foxing. This is authentic, with spine print on the cover and Monarch Records (an "MR" in a circle) stamped in the dead wax on the LP.
