Description
This is a really fine copy of this boxed set, with a really smart outer box, fully intact sleeves exhibiting little to no wear, and excellent vinyl. This set has really been taken care of.
I have tested each record on my quality 70s deck with AT-VM95C cartridge (playing sections from a few tracks per record). The sound quality is phenomenal. It filled the room with incredible sound. There is a little bit of surface noise audible every now and again, during quiet passages, but nothing obtrusive. I have purchased brand new records with more surface noise than this. The overall sound quality is fantastic.
The vinyl is in lovely condition, and looks almost mint in normal light. However, under very harsh light you can see the very finest hairlines etc. These are entirely superficial. There is a tiny mark on record 3, which causes three small 'pops' during playback of the song 'No Reply', as the stylus passes over it three times. I looked carefully for any other marks, and didn't spot any.
I already have this set, otherwise I'd keep this.
