Description
An original GREATEST hits record on the White Odeon German label manufactured in early 1966 for Export. Matrix YBEX -1/-1.SMO 73 991 / ZTOX 5600 . The record comes housed in its original laminated cover. This particular version was only in production for around four months and would have been intended for sale to allied forces stationed in West Germany at the time.
Vinyl (Ex+) It's not often can use Ex+ as a grading on a vintage record, but this one really is a solid Ex+ all the way. The labels are in immaculate condition and indicate only very light use. Under close inspection I can't see a single mark on either side and the vinyl is shiny like new. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are absolutely silent and the audio comes across with great clarity and not even a hint of interference. A very rare find, and in this condition very very unusual....
Cover (Ex) Again, it has clearly been very carefully looked after. Lovely shiny front and back with very little signs of wear at all. The rear still remains nice and white with only the very lightest of ageing. The cover still retains a very good level of rigidity and the spine is entirely intact. It really is amazing to see original examples like this turn up in this condition....
