Description
This is the 45 and picture sleeve from George Harrison's 1974 release "Dark Horse". It was released during George's first and only U.S. tour on November 18, 1974. It eventually peaked on Billboard's Hot 100 at number 15. The record itself is a white label 45 is a Winchester plant pressing with the copyright and "An Apple Record" under George's name below the label. If you subscribe to Bruce Spizer's numbering system this would be (1877.01W). The record appears to have never been played. I've graded at NM to be safe but the vinyl shines and it looks perfect. The sleeve is Spizer's number (1877.PS1). It's a white sleeve with the lyrics printed in light blue on the left and a large blue dot in the upper right corner. These sleeves ahave a curved top and appear to be somewhat limited in number. This is just not a sleeve you see as often as others. While there are no rips or tears, and all edges and sides are completely in tact, it does have some light ring wear on one side and various ridges and bends throughout. I've graded the sleeve at G+ but it's a more than acceptable copy to have an example of this rare sleeve in your collection.
