Description

1979 pressing of this Australian release. Originally issued Feb 1967.

Later variation of the orange "1-box" design has "STEREO" at the top of labels and italicized font in the titles/credits, the speed and matrix #.
According to beatlesaustralia website, the same color and italicized font of this label WITHOUT "stereo" was first issued in 1979.

For Beatles audio enthusiasts and collectors: While this album, along with Vol 1, were conceived in early 1966, it is unique in that it contains the 1965 stereo mixes of I Want To Hold Your Hand, Day Tripper and We Can Work It Out rather than the new mixes that were created by EMI UK in November 1966 for "A Collection Of Beatles Oldies".

This was also the first album anywhere to include the stereo mix of She's A Woman.

Item is graded EXCELLENT

Sleeve has vibrant images, shows no ring wear, seam or spine splits, sharp edges.

LP plays well: no pops or skips, very low surface noise

Ships in a sturdy LP mailer with cardboard backing
