First press, with mid-sized outlined "mono" on the sleeve Matrix numbers XEX 549-2 and XEX 550-2 strangely this has an MT tax code embossed on side 1 label, which was allegedly only used between 1st Jan 1963 and 30th June 1963 so should never appear on a 1965 pressing! Side 1 stampers : 5 at 9 O'clock and GDH at 3 O'clock Side 2 stampers : 1 at 9 O'clock and GDP at 3 O'clock "The Gramophone Co Ltd" rim text, and "Sold in UK subject to ...." on the labels
Plays in Good condition with background crackle and some clicks, caused by light scuffs and numerous light scratches. Side 2 plays slightly better than side 1
The front laminated G&L picture sleeve is in Good Minus condition with some brown marks and a black mark on the front, some light creasing to the edges and a 3cm split in the centre of the bottom seam. The front opening edge has feathered slightly and has a couple of small tears. The spine is unflattened and fully legible - See Pictures. The unlaminated rear has browned with age and handling, and has initials written in the top left corner.
