First press, with mid-sized outlined "mono" on the sleeve Matrix numbers XEX 549-2 and XEX 550-2 KT tax code embossed on side 2 label Side 1 stampers : 4 at 9 O'clock and AM at 3 O'clock Side 2 stampers : 1 at 9 O'clock and HG at 3 O'clock "The Gramophone Co Ltd" rim text, and "Sold in UK subject to ...." on the labels
Side 1 plays in Good Plus condition with light background crackle and some clicks, caused by light scuffs and a few light scratches, and has some light groovewear in places, especially on track 1 Side 2 plays in Very Good condition with some light clicks and occasional light background crackle, caused by light scuffs.
The front laminated G&L picture sleeve is in Good condition with some light creasing to the edges, light wear to the corners and a 3.5cm split in the centre of the bottom seam (see pictures). The front and back opening edges have feathered and have a couple of small tears. The spine is unflattened and fully legible - See Pictures. The unlaminated rear has a large area of pink staining and has browned with age and handling.
