The Beatles –Help!– Genuine 1st issue UK mono pressing with yellow & black Parlophone labels and ‘Sold in UK…’ label text, catalogue number PMC 1255 and dating to 6th August 1965.
The disc has probably received no more than 10 plays in its 48 year history!
Help! one of the most underrated of all Beatles albums, with an amazing track listing, this is The Beatles at their very best.

Audio: EXC+/MINT-
A wonderful sounding copy that has hardly been played in its 48 year history. There is some occasional surface noise audible at high volume but overall very little to fault. There are no loud pops or ticks and the record does not jump or stick.
Labels: EXCELLENT+
A clean and fresh set of labels with some faint spindle trails visible on side 2. Side 1 has evidence of only one or two spindle trails. There is no writing to either label. The KT tax code is visible on side 2.
Visual: Side 1: EXC+/nr MINT Side 2: EXCELLENT+
The disc appears virtually MINT in strong daylight and still retains its high gloss sheen. There is an ultra- faint, non sounding (non feelable) hairline to side 2 which is noticeable in daylight but does disappear when the record is tilted. On closer inspection and under a halogen desklight nothing much more is revealed other than one or two superficial hairlines and the faintest of whispy sleeve removal marks none of which are feelable or effect play. The heavy duty vinyl lies 100% flat on the turntable.
Cover
EXCELLENT
An original 1965 1st issue patents pending Garrod & Lofthouse cover. The front panel has some faint thumbnail creasing towards the opening edge and there is some slight bruising and wear to the bottom right corner. The back panel is free from any writing and shows only minimal signs of ageing. The spine is uncrushed and all the flipbacks are intact.

Original and correct Emitex rice paper inner.
