Description
A Mono 1st pressing from 1965 on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 2/2. Stamper 2-GH/4-GH. Very importantly this pressing has the distinguishing feature only found on a true 1st press - The track 'I need you' - the asterix is found on the right side with a space separating them. Also the publishing credit for 'Act Naturally' is Lark Mus [abbreviated]. The Lp comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover with original Emitex inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex+) Looks in fantastic condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we can barely see a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with top-level clarity and barely any interference. We could only detect a couple of light crackles [literally] the whole way through. Playback is astonishingly good and you will really struggle laying your hands on anything that could even remotely surpass this one.
Cover (Ex+) In almost factory fresh condition - unbelievable! That iconic front cover shot is totally untouched and importantly free of any fading. The rear is in top condition too just a signature in the top-right that really is all. Edge wear is non-existent and overall the cover retains perfect rigidity. It certainly has a newish feel to it - not bad for 1965!
Inner (Vg+) No splits, just a bit of ageing.
Any purchase is guaranteed to get to you quickly, safely, and with total satisfaction, or your money back.
