THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'
This outstanding 1st UK MONO pressing dates from initial August 1965 release on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1255
Both labels have the 'Sold In UK..' text and there is a 'KT' purchase tax code in the centre of the side 2 label.
Matrix numbers: XEX 549-2 & XEX 550-2
Stamper codes: 4/OH & 1/GG
Vinyl weight: 161g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover, complete with original rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.

A bright and clean set showing just a small handful of light spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Perfectly clean & unworn playing surfaces bearing only some faint marks from inner-sleeve storage/removal mostly on side 2, but nothing I would call a scratch on this well looked-after disc.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
Played less than a handful of times, all tracks play cleanly and clearly without any trace of groove wear or crackle. Apart from a touch of natural low-level vinyl background between tracks, there is little to fault and much to enjoy here.
Cover: NEAR MINT
A remarkable example of this easily blemished cover which would not require upgrading.
The creamy front panel (a feature of all early covers) retains a unworn high-gloss laminate free from any creasing or 'thumbnail' wrinkles.
All corners are sharp and unbumped and both opening edges are sharp, clean & unworn.
The rear panel is pristine white and totally free from any discolouration, or indeed any other blemishes of any kind.
Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine is fully laminated & worded.
