THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'
This exceptional UK 1965 1st MONO pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1255
Both labels include the 'Sold in U.K...' text with 'The Gramophone Co...' text around the rims.
A 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 1 label.
Matrix numbers: XEX 549-2 & XEX 550-2
Stamper codes: 9/ATD & 2/AHH
Vinyl weight: 157g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover.
Complete with original rice-paper lined 'Use Emitex..' inner-sleeve.

A superb set bearing only three light spindle trails around the side 1 centre hole and no more than a small handful on side 2.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Immaculate factory-fresh, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked & 'as new' in strong daylight, showing only a few faint wispy paper hairlines on side 2 beneath halogen light. You won't find a cleaner example.
Audio: NEAR MINT
Played just no more than a handful of times on quality equipment, all tracks on this outstanding disc play flawlessly. There is no trace of crackle, groovewear or any other audible distractions. Apart from a touch of regular low-level background between tracks, there is little to fault here.
Cover: NEAR MINT
Such a hard cover to find in anything approaching this condition, this exceptional example has been carefully stored in a clean, non-smoking environment and looks like it could have been bought last week, let alone 52 years ago. The striking front panel is clean and unworn and retains a sparkling unrubbed high-gloss laminate free from any 'thumbnail' wrinkles. The only trace of wear on the entire cover is a small bruise to the lower left corner but the others, along with both opening edges are sharp, clean & totally unworn. The rear panel is pristine white and totally unblemished with just a small bend in the lower right corner related to the frontal corner bruise. Both seams and the spine are smooth and in perfect condition. A tough one to upgrade.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean & crisp with a few soft wrinkles from storage but no writing, tears or seam splits.
