This beautiful UK 1st MONO pressing of their film soundtrack album dates from initial August 1965 release.
On the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1255
Matrix numbers: XEX 549-2 & XEX 550-2
Stamper codes: 6/GGD & 5/GGG
Vinyl weight: 157g
Housed in a front-laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover.
Complete with orignal rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Disc: EXCELLENT
This rarely and carefully played disc bears just a couple of light spindle trails to each centre hole and retains exteemely clean, deep-gloss plying surfaces, which bear only some harmless wispy hairlines from the inner-sleeve beneath halogen light. Audibly it warm & and rich and free from any no crackle, clicks, pops or any other major faults.
Cover: NEAR MINT
An outstanding exmaple, so hard to find in this pristine, unblemished condition. The pristine white and unyellowed frotn panel retains all of its high-gloss finish and is without any creasing or 'thumbnail' wrinkles. All corners and both opening edges are totally unworn. The rear panel is flawless, as are both seams and the fulyl worded spine. Tough to find a better example.
