Description

The Beatles - Help
This is an early mono pressing of Help in superb condition. It has matrix numbers xex-549-2/3?/gao & xex-550-2/1/gmh, black & yellow Parlophone label, with all details pointing to this being first press (i.e. 'patents pending' text, KT tax code, stampers are right, G&L sleeve, outline Mono logo, etc.) - plays exc++, sleeve is exc++ with only a little discolouration, some surface marks visible on vinyl if held to bright light source though very very playable considering its age.

Sonically, the sound is first rate, very listenable and has that vibrancy and edge that only early pressings seem to have. None of that lifeless later pressing sound here!

Condition

This LP is in superb condition for its age, as mentioned above. I reckon it plays exc++, perhaps even mint- (but I wouldn't dare grade it so highly as it can set an unrealistic expectation). That said, I have vacuum cleaned this LP with my VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine, RRL fluids and given it a fresh nagaoki style inner. This provides a 'cleaner than new' end-result (believe it or not) and the superior liner keeps the records in far better condition than a conventional paper inner, which is also included.

Postage & Packing
Postage within the UK will be £3.25, which includes in the price a new, tough cruciform LP mailing box to protect your record. Insurance would be extra, and depending on the final price of this LP I would recommend you pay the extra for this.

Additional notes
Please do not bid if you do not intend to buy. I always leave feedback. Happy bidding!
