Description
The Beatles: Help! mono 1965. 1st Press. PMC 1255. 49-2/50-2. Tested. Audio VG+.
PLAY TESTED 9th MAY 2022.
First mono press, variant B (thebeatles-collection.com), Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated flipback cover, with outline mono to front cover.
‘Gramophone’ perimeter print, and ‘Sold In U.K.’ text. No inner sleeve. KT tax code to label.
The audio is VG+, with the usual occasional static/crackle and pop, but very little for the most part, even between tracks. It’s more prominent into ‘I Need You’, with some slight static before ‘Ticket To Ride’. Static and clicks are most prominent into ‘Act Naturally’, and into the first 30secs.
There are no skips/jumps/sticking on either side.

Side 1.
Matrice: XEX 549-2

Side 2.

Labels.
Side 1, with KT tax code, is relatively bright, with just light spindle ware. Yellow sticker with Number 6.
Side 2. Again, quite bright, with some spindle ware.
Sleeve.
The G&L front laminate sleeve has some ringing/creasing and feathering to front, with the remains of a sticker/sticker mark, to top right.
The rear has pencilled numbers to side 1 track listing. There are other marks, creasing, and slight listing to flip back in the top right corner.
The spine is quite strong, easily legible, but does have some minor creasing/scuffing.
There is no inner sleeve.
I’d describe the overall package as somewhere between G+, and VG, mainly due to the condition of the sleeve, and the absence of an inner, but most importantly, the audio is VG+.
I tend to be quite conservative in my gradings/descriptions, and therefore retain a 100% positive feedback rating, largely for vinyl. Thus, rest assured, you can bid with confidence.
