Australian pressing of the US Capitol inspired album.
Labels on both sides have a non-italicised text used throughout.
This variation features the smaller "STEREO" notation which came into use from 1974.
This label still carries the mistake for track A3 Paper Back Writer instead of Paperback Writer.
Because it's not mentioned anywhere on the sleeve, it is not widely known (both domestically and internationally) that the Australian version of Hey Jude actually originates from the same lacquer from which UK 'Export' copies originate.
This was the first release in Stereo in Australia of of Rain, Lady Madonna, Revolution, Hey Jude, Old Brown Shoe, Don't Let Me Down and the Ballad of John and Yoko.
